IAPBA support a series of objectives and policies to monitor and reduce the environmental impact from private and business aviation.
These include the study and implementation of improved flight profiles, which save fuel and CO2 emissions, and reducing noise over the ground.
In partnership with industry stakeholders and governments, IAPBA is focused on developing sensible environmental policies to enable and promote sustainable and efficient aviation.
Noise
IAPBA works with global air-traffic control and managements, manufacturers, and aviation environment causes for a sustainable cleaner, quieter and smarter aviation.
From bizliner’s to business jets, private aircraft, turboprops and helicopters; much of the flying by private and business aviation is often at low level which can be more intrusive than commercial aviation; with helicopters setting a unique set of challenges.
Whilst protecting the interests of our members and our industry, we assist in the setting of policy and performance trials to minimize the impact of noise and environment from private and business aviation.
Alternative fuels
The challenge for our industry is to produce sufficient, secure, steady supplies that meet sustainability criteria, conforming and consistent with recognized standards.
IAPBA supports the development of sustainable alternative fuels for private and business aviation.
Fuel burn & emissions
We contribute to approved and regulated causes that engage in and support studies for reduction of carbon emissions through efficiency and fuel burn improvement.
We will continue to work tirelessly to achieve greater efficiencies, improve the environmental credentials of private and business aviation and secure a sustainable future for our industry.
In targeting carbon reduction membership plays an active role for private and business aircraft operators and businesses – together we make a difference.
Carbon offset
IAPBA purchase carbon offset credits to assist in the offset of the carbon footprint caused by private and business aviation on behalf of members.
Our programs are global and help improve the environment for us all worldwide.
